Our History
Euriux Abogados was founded in 1995 by Manuel F. Bibián de Miguel, a lawyer from Zaragoza based in Madrid with extensive experience in the insurance sector, who together with a group of other lawyers from different Spanish provinces - also with proven professional careers - set up a law firm with the aim of offering specialised legal advice and defence in all areas of law and in the widest geographical area.
With the gradual incorporation of partners or associates throughout the country, the firm began to offer - initially with a special focus on insurance companies and later extended to companies in all productive sectors - a new system of collaborative work and a new way of understanding legal advice. This led to the creation of the Economic Interest Group Euriux Abogados, the first Lawyers' Group in Spain with offices (partners or associates) in all provinces. It specialises in legal assistance to insurance companies and companies from different sectors, becoming the trusted law firm of thousands of policyholders.
Manuel Bibián, founder and promoter of the firm, was Chairman until his death in 2003, being replaced by Andrés Garrido, who chaired and represented Euriux Abogados for more than six years, making possible its full consolidation and continuation. In 2009, José Pedro Gómez Cobo was elected president, subsequently re-elected in 2012, and currently holds this position.
With 52 partner offices, associates or collaborators, and more than 300 professionals, the firm is present throughout Spain, providing legal advice and defence in the different branches and specialities of law. The use of new technologies and its central offices located in the commercial and financial centre of Madrid guarantee agility in the management and speed of communications and professional assignments, as well as the permanent exchange of information between the firm and its clients and between the member firms themselves.
